Phoenix Rising Description / Expectations There are a lot of guilds out there so I thought I would take the time to describe the officers' vision and expectations for Phoenix Rising:
Our goal is to continually progress through the game content, but not at the expense of the well being of our guild members. Our officers have seen guilds fall apart because the content was rushed and people got worn out really quick on failed attempts and lack of organization and this is something we are looking to avoid.
With that being said, however, we EXPECT all members to be ready when it is time to raid. We do not raid on Friday and Saturdays but we do hold our main raids from Mon-Wed 6 - 9 PST (invites start at approx. 540 PST). Sun 5-9 PST & Mon is a discretionary day used for Cleanup/Progression.
1) Like all top guilds, our expectations are high. We expect our members and our recruits to be knowledgeable on playing their classes as well as the raid content. We don't consider ourselves hardcore because we only raid for 3 hours a night and we only raid for 3-5 days a week, but we do like to get serious when raid time comes around. This means: Showing up on time, prepared, and ready to go in every respect (not pvp flagged, fully repaired, having all consumables needed to help the raid in the best way possible and not going afk constantly etc).
2) We are a friendly and respectful guild. This does not mean that we do not joke around with people we know, but we do not tolerate racism and blatant/disrespectful attacks on other guild members. Issues with members need to be brought up to officers directly should it be deemed necessary.
3) We are people who like to HELP each other. This doesn't mean recruits who constantly ask for runs or favors. Rather we help each other PROGRESS through the game, which in turn helps us have an enjoyable experience.
The officers in all our decisions are always thinking about what will help the guild most. People may think they are being targetted or not as appreciated as much as other members, but I can assure you that is not our intention.
Only if you feel you would fit well in this type of teamwork atmosphere should you consider joining the guild.
If you feel that you would be a great fit to our guild, we strongly encourage you to join. Please refer to the recruiting section to see if you fall under classes that are in demand. Keep in mind that just because a class is in low demand, does not mean we will not consider excellent candidates.
