The Beginning of Phoenix Rising
Phoenix Rising was formed in November 2007 by friends with prior raiding experience from Kara, Gruuls, TK, and SSC whose former guild had disbanded. The name Phoenix Rising comes from the fact that a phoenix is about becoming renewed or restored after suffering calamity or apparent annihilation. Together, members are working towards mastering new end-game content, while helping new members reach higher levels so they can make an immediate impact. Though we believe that raid attendance is crucial for progression, we stand behind the fact that real life should ALWAYS come before WoW.
